Family Fun at Pinot’s Palette
Registration is due to the Main Office by TOMORROW, Monday, January 22nd!
Join us for our next Family Fun event at Pinot’s Palette on Sunday, 1/28 at 4:00 pm. Enjoy a no-experience-required art class—all supplies included—artist will guide guests step-by-step through painting your own family tree! $25.00 per painter and includes light snacks. Parents must accompany their child or children and are also welcome to paint! Space is limited. Send in the completed registration form and activity fee in a sealed envelope labeled with “Family Fun” and include your child’s name and teacher to secure your spots. Elementary Orchestra Winter Concert
It’s Showtime! Wall’s Elementary Orchestra Winter Concert will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in the Wall Intermediate School Auditorium.

Allenwood Theater Club (4th and 5th Grade Students)
The cast and crew are working hard and improving every day! Rehearsals continue after school! Pick up is at Door #16 at 4:30 on the day(s) your child is registered for. Thank you!

January Spirit Day is this Friday, January 26th! Be sure to wear your green and white or Allenwood Spirit Wear.

TerraCycle Update!
A shipment of 40lbs of snack bags was shipped this week! 40lbs of chip bags also means double points for Allenwood!! Contest runs until May 1st, but continue to collect all year long!

Let’s Dance!
Spots are filling up, please get your send in your form and fee ASAP!
Please join us for a Valentine’s Dance at South Wall Banquet Hall on Saturday, February 10th from 4:00-6:00 PM. Tickets for this casual family fun event are $5 per person and presale only. Tickets price includes: DJ, light refreshments, games, photo spot, take home favor from the candy cart and more! *Please note all children must be accompanied by parent/guardian throughout the event. No drop offs permitted.* Space is first come, first served and forms must be submitted to the Main Office by Wednesday, 1/31. Checks payable to Allenwood PTG.

Bake Sale at Valentine’s Dance!

Box Tops
It’s that time of year again…we hope everyone has been clipping Box Tops all year to earn lots of money for our wonderful school! The Box Tops contest will run until February 2, so you still have time to clip. Don’t forget to ask family and neighbors to help with your collecting! Box Tops should be sent in a baggie or envelope labeled, “BOXTOPS,” with your child’s teacher’s name. The winning class this year will receive a luau party with the Kona Ice Truck this spring! Allenwood Yearbook Sales
Don’t miss out on the memories! Time to order your yearbook!
$30 per hardcover book includes large full color pages and lots of candid photos. Books are for sale ONLINE ONLY now thru February 23, 2018. To guarantee your child a book, you MUST order by 2/23/18 for delivery during the last few days of the school year.
Special add on features are also available, including custom naming, icons and a clear photo pocket for keepsakes. Customization is done through the yearbook purchase before adding it to your cart. Please be sure to enter the name of your child’s teacher in the homeroom field!
To purchase your book, you must order it online. A link to the yearbook website can be found on awptg.org, on the District website under the Allenwood tab on the Wall Backpack or you may use the link below to purchase your book.

Our 2nd-5th graders will be completing a “Leprechaun Trap” engineering challenge in class during the month of March. Please send any of the items on the list to help us complete our project!
All items can be brought to Mrs. Bramley’s Technology Room. Please have all items in by February 28th!
