Hello Allenwood Families! Welcome to the LAST full week of school!
This past week was quite an eventful week starting with the BOGO Book Fair! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and supported our BOGO Book Fair. Linnea Madden from Mrs. Mikuski’s class was the lucky winner of our Book Basket Raffle for donating to All for Books at the Book Fair!
The Book Fair Committee was able to turn your dollars and coins into books and smiles and purchase the 15 books pictured below for our wonderful library!
Thanks again for supporting Allenwood and be sure to read your new books over the summer!
Thank you to everyone that participated in the Barlow’s Spring Fundraiser on 5/24 and beautified their yards! Barlow’s donated 15% of the sales and generously added in additional monies to increase the donation to $100.00 to be utilized for student activities and events.
2018 Allenwood Field Day!
A huge thank you to Mrs. Salt and Mr. Maritt for their hard work and dedication to make this day such a success. To the amazing Allenwood faculty and staff, thank you for all your hard work and making it a day our children look forward to all year. And to our volunteers, we are grateful for you!

Fifth Grade Farewell Cards-Orders Due Thursday, 6/7!
It is time to wish our fabulous 5th Graders FAREWELL! Let them know how much you will miss them and how they’ve inspired others in Allenwood School and the community. Our FAREWELL cards can be purchased by ANYONE (this is not just for 5th Grade parents/guardians) and are a great way to record shared memories and let them know how great they are!
To place your order, please email Liz Lemongelli at lizlemongelli@gmail.com with the following:
Your child’s name
Oldest child’s name
Their teacher
# of cards
These blank cards will be sent home to you through your child as noted on your email order. Once you receive the blank cards, you will write your messages and the address the card to the appropriate 5th Grader. Please note a last name initial if there are a few students with the same name. You will then return these cards, along with the appropriate amount of money to school in an envelope addressed to “5th Grade Farewell.” They will be sorted and given to each 5th Grader during the last few days of school.
$1 per card. Checks made to Allenwood PTG please.
We are accepting orders through 6/7 and completed cards by 6/12!
