Please join us for a Valentine’s Dance at South Wall Banquet Hall on Saturday, February 10th from 4:00-6:00 pm. Registration for this casual family fun event is $5 per person and presale only. Registration includes: DJ, light refreshments, games, photo spot, take home favor from the candy cart and more!  *Please note all children must be accompanied by parent/guardian throughout the event. Family Fun at Pinot’s Palette

Join us for our next Family Fun event at Pinot’s Palette on Sunday, 1/28 at 4:00 pm. Enjoy a no-experience-required art class—all supplies included—artist will guide guests step-by-step to create painting of your own family tree! $25.00 per painter and includes light snacks. Parents must accompany their child or children and are also welcome to paint! Space is limited. Send in the completed registration form and activity fee in a sealed envelope labeled with “Family Fun” and include your child’s name and teacher to secure your spots. Deadline Monday, January 22nd.

“In an effort to ensure all students’ safety during dismissal, please make every effort to plan ahead and send in a note. Classroom teachers and school secretaries may NOT see emails prior to the end of the day. In addition, whenever possible, please do not pick up your child from the Main Office between 3:00 and 3:15; instead, use private pick up.”

Box Tops
It’s that time of year again…we hope everyone has been clipping Box Tops all year to earn lots of money for our wonderful school! The Box Tops contest will run until February 2, so you still have time to clip. Don’t forget to ask family and neighbors to help with your collecting! Box Tops should be sent in a baggie or envelope labeled, “BOXTOPS,” with your child’s teacher’s name. The winning class this year will receive a luau party with the Kona Ice Truck this spring! Dragon News: Week of 1/1 at Allenwood!

Happy New Year Allenwood Families and Friends!

Hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday recess!  In the week leading up to break, the PTG organized and wrapped in bundles the 140 Scholastic books we purchased, surprising each of our 22 homeroom teachers at Allenwood, adding to their classroom libraries and show our thanks for their hard work and dedication to teaching our children all year long! We also purchased and donated narrative nonfiction and sports stories packs for 18 new Scholastic books to be added to the shelves of the school library!


Skittles first visit at Allenwood was well received and thank you to Dr. O’Connell for allowing Skittles to stop by! Keep watch for info on Skittles next appearance at our January Dining Out on 1/21 at MJ*s!


Thank you to all that attended our first Family Fun event over the break bouncing all that holiday energy out at House of Bounce. More fun events to follow, watch for updates!
