Share with your Dragons the 6 new books added to the Allenwood library by the Book Fair Committee as part of the Scholastic BookCrate subscription for the month of January!
Committee Heads are needed for the Art Fair on Tuesday, May 19th and Field Day. Responsibilities include:
Art Fair: Create a SignUp Genius and recruit volunteers, volunteers will be prepping, with Mr. Allen, in his art room by mounting a piece of artwork from each student onto large panels of paper. On the day of the event, volunteers will help Mr. Allen set up the panels and take them down in the cafeteria.
Field Day: Volunteers needed to purchase water, ice, and ice pops before Field Day, deliver to school, and replenish the water stations during the day. Ice pops are distributed at the end of the day for students to enjoy.

On Wednesday, 1/15, Allenwood students enjoyed an assembly by LEAD U. “Lead U is a positive group of artists who creatively engage, educate, and empower learners of all ages to find the leaders within themselves.” This was the 2nd PTG sponsored assembly for the entire school.
