Book Fair Thank You!

THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered and supported our Book Fair over the weekend!
WE DID IT! Your purchases gained enough Scholastic Dollars for the renewal of the Scholastic BookCrate subscription program where a selection of the hottest new releases will be donated MONTHLY to the Allenwood Library by the committee! Those books will become part of the stacks so tell your Dragons to keep their eyes peeled as we share future donations!
Thanks to all that donated at the Fair into All for Books. The Book Fair Committee was able to turn your dollars and coins into books and smiles and purchase the books a few hardcover books to be added immediately to our wonderful library! To those Dragons that hand selected books for their teachers…they are going to LOVE the surprise!
Thank you for supporting our Book Fairs and be sure to read your new books over the summer!

FIFTH GRADE FAREWELL CARDS

It is time to wish our fabulous 5th Graders FAREWELL! Let them know how much you will miss them and how they’ve inspired others in Allenwood School and the community. Our FAREWELL CARDS can be purchased by ANYONE (this is not just for 5th Grade parents/guardians) and are a great way to record shared memories and let them know how great they are!  Completed cards will be sorted and presented during the last days of school.

5th Grade End of Year Info:

A few parents have reached out asking about the what the end of year will look like for our Dragons leaving Allenwood. Please know our awesome Allenwood administration, staff and 5th grade committee chairs (5th Grade CPOs) have been brainstorming and are determined to finish out the year celebrating how amazingly adaptable and flexible and just all around incredible these kids are. As of now, we are planning to bring some old school fun back to Allenwood with a picnic with games during the second week of June.
Here’s what else we know so far…
• Fifth Grade Farewell Cards will be sold.
• Yearbook signing will happen!
